I would say that one thing that's interesting in terms of financial learning at IESEG is that we quickly learned how to use important financial tools and databases like the Bloomberg Terminal and Thomson Reuters. Moreover, IESEG gave us the opportunity to obtain learning certificate for these two tools which are really valuable in the eyes of recruiters.
The professors were industry experts and shared a lot their knowledge and experience with us.

Hi Tirya, Thanks for your question. The focus on practical training is a key differentiator for me. For example, we had the opportunity to applying our banking concepts as part of a banking simulation game which was an unique for me. We had to formulate the strategy in light of the economic forecasts and implement it and compete with our peers. In another situation, we had to come up with solutions for problems facing the industry with regard to sustainability investing using VBA. As part of our econometrics course we were required to build models to predict house prices. Diverse perspectives are brought to the discussion table both my the faculties and the peers which makes the learning quite memorable. I am looking forward to the activities lined up in the second semester including the Hackathon where we get to work on real problems provided by the corporate partners of the course.
Looking forward to seeing you at IESEG.
